FRIDAY CAMPUS COURTYARD SET-UP (Report 4:30pm) Help move heavy items, tables, etc. in preparation for race set-up in the morning.
CAMPUS COURTYARD SET-UP (Report 5:00am) Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. You will help set up the church campus/courtyard for the race.
CAMPUS COURTYARD TEAR-DOWN (Report 10:00am) Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. You will help tear down and clean the KUMC campus.
PARKING VOLUNTEERS (Report 6:30am) Must stay for BOTH races. No registered racers. Help direct parking in the KUMC lots and area.
RACE ROUTE SET-UP (Report 6:00am) No registered racers. Please park at KUMC! You will help set up the race route, and may need to use your vehicle to shuttle supplies and volunteers along the route.
RACE ROUTE WATER STOP ATTENDANTS & SET-UP (Report 7:00am) Must stay for BOTH races. No registered racers. Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. You will help set up the water stops along the race route. Wear gloves and hold cups with outstretched arms. Call out "water" to racers as they approach. Refill coolers when necessary. You are also in charge of cleaning up the water station area. Race participants will throw cups on the ground - pick up trash in between the two races and when there is a gap in between racers.
POINTERS ON ROUTE/ENCOURAGERS (Report 7:15am) No registered racers. Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. You will be positioned along the race route to point runners in the right direction. Cheer on people as they pass. Your encouraging words mean a lot, especially going uphill!
HOSPITALITY (Report 7:15am) No registered racers. Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. Familiarize yourself with key locations around campus (i.e., bathroom facilities, start/finish line, registration table, youth building, etc.) You will be posted around the church campus to answer any questions and direct visitors to the appropriate locations. Make sure each race participant is made to feel welcome on our campus whether it is by your smile, welcoming words or restocking toilet paper in the bathrooms.
FINISH LINE WATER STATION ATTENDANTS & SET-UP (Report 7:00am) Must stay for BOTH races. No registered racers. Please park at Fellowship Presbyterian Church and take the shuttle to KUMC. You will help set up the campus water station located at the finish line for BOTH races. Refill coolers and cups when necessary, and keep it neat and tidy at all times.
REGISTRATION PACKET HAND-OUT (PRIOR TO RACE DAY) (Thursday, March 2, 4:00pm – 7:00pm / Friday, March 3, 11:00am - 2:00pm) Pass out registration packets (bags) prior to race day in the the Asbury building. Report early so you can familiarize yourself with procedures.

You will help register and pass out packets/bags to race participants for BOTH races. You may have to answer questions, so familiarize yourself with the location of the bathroom facilities, start/finish line, etc.
